Systems Society at its Annual Conference
Sixty five V-Link Public Internet
Access Terminals were made available for 10,000
conference attendees in New Orleans FREE of charge

Veicon Technology,
Inc., partnering with the Healthcare Information and
Management Systems Society, set up and supported 65
V-Link™ public
Internet access terminals at the HIMSS Annual
Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Under the project named "Surf the Net and Cyber Cafe," these
terminals were installed at 11 different locations
in the New Orleans Convention Center, six in
the first floor lobby areas and five in the second
floor. All of the terminals performed very well,
and approximately 10,000 people used the V-Link
public Internet terminals during the five day
conferences. Veicon Technology is truely ready
to now deploy the V-Link terminals nationwide,
as the company now has the necessary experience
in supporting a large number of the V-Link Internet
terminals.
The HIMSS Annual Conference is the premier national conference for the
healthcare IT industry with almost 20,000 attendees. In addition to Internet
access, the V-Link terminals provided conference attendees with access
to popular MS office tools and printing.
