  RMA Procedures

Return Material Authorization (RMA)
You may return V-Link terminal when it needs repair or the contract term is expired. Prior to sending the unit back to us, please contact Veicon Technology and request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. The RMA process is a convenient one and provides you with two methods for making your request.

Phone Request: A Customer Service professional will issue (up to 2) RMAs via phone (503) 645-1551 ext. 227 or (888) 645-2288 ext. 227.
WEB Request: You may request up to 8 RMAs using our on-line RMA request Form at www.veicon.com/rmarequest.htm.

In order to process your warranty request expeditiously we require the following information:

  • Company Name & Address
  • Contact Name & Phone Number
  • Model, Part & Serial Number of Units in Need of Repair or Return
  • Problem Description

Once you get the RMA number, you may deliver the product to us or make arrangement with us to pick it up if it is located local, Portland, Oregon. If neither applies to you, please follow the instruction below and ship the unit back to us.

  • Pack it in its original shipping container (or equivalent)
  • Put the RMA number on the address label
  • Insure it (or assume the risk of loss/damage during shipment)
  • Pay all shipping charges except for Dead On Arrival (DOA)

Please post the assigned RMA number on the outside of each box and ship your unit to the following address freight prepaid. If the V-Link terminal is DOA, we will send you a prepaid return shipping label. DOA is valid for thirty (30) days only from date of shipment.

After our turnaround of 1-2 working days, we will ship the unit to the manufacturer for repair. The manufacturer will ship the unit back in 1-2 weeks. We will reconfigure and ship the unit back to you in 1-2 working days. If prearranged in the contract, we will loan a temporary unit free of charge until the repaired terminal is back to you.

Please note that the RMA numbers are valid for ninety (90) days from date of issuance. Our hours of operation allow for a quick response from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday, Pacific Standard Time. Night and holiday messaging are also available. You will receive a return call before noon the following business day.
